Emirati President and Jordanian King Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan on the fraternal relations and cooperation pathways between the two countries, and ways to enhance them across various fields that serve their developmental priorities and mutual interests, and bring benefits to their peoples. According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), His Highness the President of the UAE and King Abdullah II emphasized during the meeting their shared commitment to continuing to strengthen UAE-Jordanian relations and expanding their horizons in economic, commercial, developmental, and other sectors, within the framework of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between them. They also reviewed a number of regional issues and topics of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East region, exchanging views on them and reaffirming their commitment to continuing fraternal consultation and coordination on various issues, in support of efforts to consolidate lasting security and stability in the region.
