Beit Al-Anara Company concluded its sponsorship of the Teddy Bear Hospital campaign, organized by the Academy – Faculty of Human Medicine at the University of Kuwait, in collaboration with the Kuwait Board of Pediatrics and the Kuwait Sleep Medicine Center, in a move that reflected the company’s commitment to supporting community initiatives with a direct impact on children and families in Kuwait. The campaign took place from September 10 to 12, 2026, at the Capital Complex.
Teddy Bear Hospital is a globally recognized health activity that originated in Melbourne in 2009. The Academy in Kuwait has successfully organized it annually since 2014. The initiative aims to strengthen the relationship between children and doctors and break down the barrier of fear between them, through interactive stations where children assume the role of doctors to treat their own teddy bears. Activities included medical examinations, imaging, surgery, nutrition, and hygiene, involving approximately 500 students from the faculties of human medicine, dentistry, and pediatrics, and attracting around 5,000 visitors over its three-day duration.
Beit Al-Anara Company stated that its sponsorship of this event is a continuation of its active role in serving the community, and stems from its belief in the importance of investing in initiatives focused on children’s health and well-being. The company emphasized that its corporate social responsibility is no less important than its leadership in its field, and that its participation in supporting an event of this scale, which brought together thousands of children, families, and medical students, embodies its genuine commitment to the community it belongs to and serves.
