Boubyan Concludes Its Summer Training Program, Boubyan Explorer

Boubyan Bank concluded its summer program, Boubyan Explorer, held under the umbrella of its training academy, PRIME Academy, with the participation of 40 high school students aged 16 to 18. The program featured a ten-day educational and practical journey that allowed participants to explore the world of business and banking, and to gain close insight into the bank’s work environment, service development mechanisms, and customer experience.

The program’s conclusion featured presentations by the participating teams, attended by several senior bank executives. The teams presented ideas and solutions to address real-world challenges related to service development, enhancing customer experience, and improving internal work processes, simulating the mechanisms for proposing and discussing initiatives in a professional work environment.

The program also included a series of interactive sessions, field visits, and meetings with various bank executives, experts, and employees across different sectors and departments. Additionally, a dialogue session was held with Kuwaiti entrepreneur and founder of the Talabat app, Khaled Al-Otaibi, who shared his experience in building ideas, turning challenges into opportunities and successful projects, thereby adding a practical dimension to the participants’ experience and exposing them to a realistic model of the entrepreneurship world.

Commenting on the occasion, Adel Al-Hamad, General Manager of the Human Resources Group at Boubyan Bank, stated that the Boubyan Explorer program reflects the bank’s vision of investing in Kuwaiti youth by designing high-quality educational experiences that link theoretical knowledge with practical application, providing them with a practical space to discover their capabilities and develop the skills needed for their academic and professional futures.

For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Roumi, Assistant General Manager of the Human Resources Group at Boubyan Bank, said that the program was designed to take participants on a comprehensive journey, starting with understanding how institutions operate and how their departments integrate, then moving on to field research and analyzing the customer journey.
