Ministry of Public Works Prepares for Rainy Season with Maintenance of Tunnels and Pumps

Darine Al-Ali: The Court of Audit has approved the Ministry of Public Works’ request for a second extension of the tunnel maintenance contract, valued at 392,000 dinars. This request comes as part of the ministry’s preparations to face the upcoming rainy season, including completing major maintenance works on roads in various areas. These maintenance activities involve cleaning catch basins and stormwater manholes, as well as inspecting the condition of tunnel pumps on highways to ensure their safe operation.
