Investigation into the “Housha” incident, which began in “Kuwait City” and whose details were uncovered in “Al-Furwaniya”

Ahmed Khamis: The Deputy Public Prosecutor ordered the registration of a case following information about a “housha” (brawl) between an expatriate and a Kuwaiti national, which began in the Khaitan area.

According to details provided by a security source to “Al-Anbaa,” the incident started with a report of a fight in Khaitan, ultimately resulting in both parties of the brawl being taken to Al-Farwaniya Hospital with injuries that necessitated opening a security file to determine what had transpired and who initiated the assault.

The source stated that an Egyptian expatriate was transported to the hospital by ambulance following the altercation. Medical reports indicated he suffered a laceration on his left arm. In his statement, he claimed he was stabbed and accused a young Kuwaiti national, one of the parties involved, of the attack.

The source added that upon arriving at the hospital, security personnel observed the condition of the other party in the fight, a Kuwaiti national. His medical report revealed a severed tendon in his hand. Consequently, investigators now have two conflicting accounts and injuries that require a thorough examination to clarify the facts from the onset of the dispute until the injured parties reached the hospital.

Continuing, the source said that the Public Prosecution, after being informed of the incident’s details and the medical reports, ordered the registration of a case and requested investigative inquiries by the Criminal Investigation Department to uncover the sequence of the brawl, the role of each party, and the circumstances surrounding the injuries. The Criminal Investigation Department has begun its inquiries, and the investigation will soon determine the circumstances of the fight, who initiated it, and who is responsible for the assaults and resulting injuries.
