13 suspects arrested for over 9 kg of hashish, cannabis, and various drugs in 10 cases

The General Department for Combating Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior has arrested 13 suspects, including one woman, across 10 separate cases involving quantities of narcotics, psychoactive substances, weapons, ammunition, and cash sums. This operation is part of the continuous security efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend its distributors.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, these arrests were achieved through the efforts of the Local Combating Department, the International Combating Department, and the Operations Department. The cases involved possession of narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume. The suspects and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.

Seized items in the ten cases:

- 4 kilograms and 480 grams of shabu.

- 4 kilograms and 872 grams of hashish.

- 3 grams of cocaine.

- 14,500 capsules of Larica.

- 100 tablets of Captagon.

- 590 tablets of psychoactive substances.

- 99 sheets of A4 paper saturated with chemical substances.

- 10 ampoules of chemical substances.

- 280 milliliters of hashish oil.

- 40 pieces of candy containing hashish.

- 3 “Shozan” hunting rifles and a large quantity of ammunition.

- 10 sensitive scales and quantities of empty bags prepared for packaging.

- 12,155 Kuwaiti dinars in cash.
