Al-Kadhimi: Equestrian League kicks off on November 6

Kuwait officials, including international equestrian and Vice President of the Equestrian Federation, Shaker Al-Kahtani, confirmed full readiness for the launch of the 2026-2027 new sports season, which includes numerous local and international competitions. Al-Kahtani stated that the sixth edition of the local league competition will commence on November 6 next year, with the fifth round scheduled for April 16 of the following year. He noted that the first international tournament will take place from November 19 to 21, with these international events continuing through February, featuring equestrians representing Kuwait and several other countries. The first local competition is set for October 2 as preparation for the league championship. It is worth noting that international equestrian Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi achieved a unique feat by winning a historic “quintuple,” securing the local league title for the fifth consecutive season—an accomplishment credited to him, the management of the Kuwait Equestrian Club, and all supporters who contributed to reaching and maintaining the pinnacle of success.
