Kuwait Olympic team concludes training ahead of tomorrow's match against Vietnam
Kuwait officials: The national Olympic (under-23) football team concluded its training sessions in Japan today in preparation for tomorrow’s Tuesday match against Vietnam, which marks the start of Group C competition at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
The Olympic squad underwent several training sessions in Japan under the guidance of Spanish coach David Doniga, who focused on tactical aspects over the past few days.
Olympic team administrator Khalifa Al-Amiri told Al-Anbaa that the morale of all members of the “Blue” delegation is extremely high, and they hope to deliver an impressive performance against Vietnam tomorrow.
Al-Amiri added that the players are highly motivated to achieve outstanding results, a trait evident in their recent training sessions, where their spirits were notably high.
He expressed hope that the Olympic “Blue” team will be successful in their challenging participation in Group C, which also includes Uzbekistan, whom they will face next Friday, and concludes with a match against the Philippines on the 22nd.
