Amir Karara's latest: 'Cairo hustle'

Egyptian actor Amir Karara is preparing to return to the big screen with his new film “Shoghl Cairo,” after officially agreeing to star in the project, which marks a departure from his previous cinematic roles.

Karara is scheduled to begin filming “Shoghl Cairo” at the start of next month, while preparations continue in the current period to finalize the last details of the production and cast the remaining actors.

In “Shoghl Cairo,” Karara will portray a different character, playing the role of a man outside the law. The story blends romance and comedy, alongside various situations and twists that the protagonist encounters throughout the film’s journey.

The film is written by Mustafa Saqr and directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi, and is expected to deliver numerous surprises in terms of plot and characters, offering Karara in a new guise for audiences.
