Latest data on circulating currency in Kuwait reveals that approximately 1.97 billion dinars in “cash” are in circulation in the market, comprising banknotes and coins. This substantial figure prompts a simple, everyday question: how many dinars of this liquidity are actually in your pocket?

The data shows that the majority of circulating currency is concentrated in banknotes, distributed across six denominations. The 20-dinar note leads by a wide margin, with a total circulating value of approximately 1.07 billion dinars, accounting for the largest share of paper money in the market.
