In Video: Five Arrested for Illegally Using an Agricultural Plot to Manufacture Food Products

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, arrested five individuals who misused an agricultural plot in the Kabd area, using it for purposes other than those designated, to manufacture and store food and consumer goods illegally.

A statement from the Ministry of the Interior clarified that the raid, conducted in coordination with relevant authorities, resulted in the seizure of machinery and equipment for manufacturing scented and plain paper tissues, paper cups, and labels, as well as food and consumer products and packaging materials. The statement added that the seized items were destroyed in coordination with the competent authorities, and the suspects were referred to the relevant jurisdiction to take the necessary legal action against them. It emphasized that any possession proven to be exploited for purposes other than those intended would be revoked.
