In Video: Criminal Security arrests Asians with drug cocktail in Al-Mahboula and Al-Mutla

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Investigations Department of the Al-Mubarrah Al-Kabir Governorate, has arrested suspects of Bangladeshi nationality involved in a case of trafficking in narcotics and psychotropic substances. According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the incident details began when investigators suspected an individual while he was at a dirt lot, where they found narcotics and psychotropic drugs in his possession. The suspect admitted that he was placing the drugs at dirt lots and sending their locations to another person for pickup, and he pointed out five sites where the seized items were located, in addition to other quantities found inside his residence in the Al-Mahbula area.

Further inquiries led to identifying the person supplying him with the prohibited substances. The first suspect admitted to obtaining the drugs from him without knowing his details. The supplier was subsequently arrested inside his residence in the Al-Mutlaa area; he is also of Bangladeshi nationality and was found in possession of quantities of narcotics and psychotropic drugs.

The total amount of seized narcotics included: 33 bags of marijuana weighing approximately 46.4 grams in total; 175 bags of methamphetamine (“Shabu”) weighing approximately 182.4 grams in total; 7 bags of heroin weighing approximately 5.8 grams in total; 85 Captagon capsules; 178 Lariqa tablets (psychotropic); 6 bags of A4 paper sheets saturated with the chemical substance; 3 sensitive scales; and a set of drug paraphernalia.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the suspects and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.
