"Al-Azraq" in a "training exercise" with Lusail

Kuwait officials: Our national first team will face Qatar’s Al-Lail at 7:00 PM today (a training exercise) as part of preparations for Gulf Cup 27, which will kick off in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the 23rd of this month. The match will be held at the “Blue” team’s training base in Doha, at the Aspire Academy stadium, and will consist of two halves of 35 minutes each, to assess the level and readiness of most players before departing Qatar and heading to Jeddah on the 16th of this month. Our national team will then play a single friendly match against Yemen on the 18th of this month. Meanwhile, our Olympic team continues its daily training sessions in Nagoya in preparation for the start of its campaign at the Asian Games, facing Vietnam next Tuesday, followed by Uzbekistan on Friday, and concluding its matches with a game against the Philippines on the 22nd of this month. Spanish coach of the “Blue Olympic” team, David Doniga, is seeking to quickly enhance cohesion among the players through training sessions.
