Officially: Al-Shenawy to direct "Sahr Al-Layali 2"

Cairo – Kholoud Abu al-Majd: Arab Cinema International and Cairo Films have officially signed a contract with director Karim El-Shenawy to direct the film “Sahr El-Layali 2,” marking a new step in the production of the project, which comes more than 20 years after the release of the first part in 2003. The film reunites screenwriter Tamer Habib, author of the original “Sahr El-Layali,” with Karim El-Shenawy, in an endeavor that does not aim to continue the stories of the first part, but rather to present new narratives that examine human relationships and their nuances among a different generation.
