Indonesian Ambassador: Providing space for sports competition and artistic creativity among the community members

Osama Diab: The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Kuwait, Lina Mariana, affirmed the importance of the Sports and Arts Festival for the Indonesian community in Kuwait, describing it as an occasion that brings together members of the community and strengthens their spirit of participation and interaction. This statement was made during the opening of the second edition of the Indonesian Community Sports and Arts Festival, held at the Sahel Sports Center.

The festival was organized to mark the 81st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian Embassy in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Indonesian Diaspora Network in Kuwait, hosted the opening ceremony of the second edition of the festival, with broad participation from members of the community.

The opening ceremony began with artistic dance performances by groups from the Indonesian community in Kuwait, followed by a report from the head of the organizing committee, a speech by the head of the Indonesian Diaspora Network in Kuwait, and a speech by the Indonesian Ambassador, before officially declaring the opening of the festival’s events.
