Saudi Foreign Minister Discusses with Qatari Prime Minister and Turkish Foreign Minister Efforts to De-escalate Regional Tensions

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks on Friday with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on joint efforts to de-escalate regional tensions and contain them. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, during which they discussed recent regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region, contributing to its security and stability. In a separate statement, the ministry noted that the Saudi foreign minister received a phone call from his Turkish counterpart, during which they reviewed the cooperation linking the two countries in supporting regional stability and their joint efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain them.
