Saudi Energy Ministry: East-West Pipeline Halted Precautionarily Following Multiple Attacks

A senior official from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy stated that the East-West pipeline, which runs through the Riyadh and Medina regions, was targeted several times on Thursday. As a precaution, the pipeline was shut down, and the attacks resulted in some injuries; medical care was provided to the injured. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the official clarified that emergency response teams and specialized technical crews began their work immediately after the attacks, taking necessary measures to secure the pipeline and verify its integrity, in accordance with approved safety procedures and emergency plans, in coordination with relevant authorities.
