"Industrial Development" Announces the Offer of 21 Fully Equipped Industrial Units in "Howarat Al Maqta" in Fayoum on a Lease Basis

Cairo - Nahnah Imam
In implementation of the directives of Minister of Industry Eng. Khaled Hashem to cultivate a new generation of entrepreneurs and provide sustainable employment opportunities for youth in the governorates, Dr. Nahed Youssef, President of the General Authority for Industrial Development (GAID), in full coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development and Environment, the Fayoum Governorate, the Egyptian Federation for Industries, and "Ayadi Misr for Urban Development" Company, announced the opening of applications for the first phase of ready-made industrial units at the "Howara Al-Maqta" Industrial Complex in Fayoum Governorate.
This phase includes 21 industrial units: 19 units with varying areas ranging from 80 to 123 square meters on the ground floor of the concrete building, alongside two factories in metal hangars, each with an area of 860 square meters. The phase also encompasses a production zone and an administrative zone. Allocation is conducted on a rental basis. The offered units are designated for activities in the clothing and textiles, furniture and woodwork, food, and engineering industries.
The General Authority for Industrial Development and the project’s partner entities have called on all young people and small investors interested in obtaining these units to submit their applications electronically via the "Egypt Industrial Digital Platform" (egyptindustrialhub.com) starting tomorrow, Saturday, until Thursday, September 24, 2026. Applicants can obtain the tender dossier, which outlines the conditions, allocation criteria, insurance requirements, and mutual commitments and responsibilities between tenants and the complex management (Ayadi Misr Company). Applications will be reviewed and verified after the submission period closes, with final allocation results for investors to be announced within two weeks of the closing date, paving the way for subsequent phases of the complex.
This joint offering is the fruit of cooperation and coordination between state institutions and the private sector. "Ayadi Misr for Urban Development" Company is responsible for the development, contracting, and technical and administrative supervision of the complex, in coordination with the Egyptian Federation for Industries and with the participation of the Ministry of Local Development and Environment and the Fayoum Governorate. Meanwhile, the General Authority for Industrial Development handles the offering and allocation procedures electronically via the "Egypt Industrial Digital Platform," ensuring the application of the highest standards of transparency, neutrality, and equal opportunity among applicants.
All units and factories in this phase have been equipped with full utilities, including water, sewage, and electrical capacities prepared for immediate operation. The "Howara Al-Maqta" Complex boasts a prime location west of New Fayoum City, near major axes and road networks, ensuring ease of transport, shipping, and handling of raw materials and finished products to reach all domestic and international markets. The complex is located 4 km from New Fayoum City, which includes residential areas and financial, commercial, and administrative services; 5 km from the main Cairo-Fayoum Road; and 13 km from Fayoum City. The site’s proximity to large population clusters and high labor density—such as Ezbat Ali Farag, Ezbat Mahmoud Sayed, Damascusin, and Howara Al-Maqta—provides a substantial labor force and diverse services for all projects operating within the complex.
