US Commemorates 25th Anniversary of September 11 Attacks; Trump: We Continue to Fight Terrorism, With No Choice But to Confront It

U.S. President Donald Trump said: “We cannot forget the moment of evil on September 11. Today, we are discovering our nation’s identity, and we must be strong and smart,” affirming that “we will never forget what happened on September 11, and we are fighting today in fidelity to that pledge.” During the ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks at the Pentagon, he added: “We continue to fight terrorism to this day, and we have no choice but to confront it.” Twenty-five years later, we know that the world will never return to what it was before the attacks. After the test of September 11, we are now undergoing a new test, and we have proven our success in it. He further stated that “Iran is the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism, and it will never obtain a nuclear weapon.”
