Agencies: U.S. President Donald Trump said, “We endured four years of embarrassment, harm, and damage, but America today is better and will soon become greater and better than ever before.” He added that on the second day of the 2026 Republican National Convention, held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, he would sign the “Save America Act,” which requires proof of identity and citizenship to exercise the right to vote. Trump launched a sharp attack on former President Joe Biden and the far-left Democrats, asserting that they “caused the worst inflation in American history.” He continued, “Democrats turned America into a laughingstock in the eyes of the world, but we have restored its leadership and achieved the lowest crime rate in the United States in 125 years.” He said, “I built approximately 2,000 miles of border wall and established the strongest and most secure borders in American history. The largest tax and regulatory cuts in U.S. history were enacted, we strengthened military investment, and made America a superpower in both energy and defense.” The U.S. President added, “We are seeking to reduce drug prices by 50% to 90% in some cases, and we will provide funds directly to Americans to purchase healthcare, allowing them to keep any remaining balance.” Trump also addressed the war in Iran, emphasizing that he would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons.
