The US president reiterated his prediction that the war with Iran will end immediately after the midterm elections. He said: “We must win the upcoming midterm elections to preserve the achievements we have made.” He stressed that “our policies are logical and rational, and our victory in the previous elections saved our country and stopped immigration, which was a disaster threatening our nation, thanks to the wall we built on our southern border.” He continued, “We will have independence and dominance in the energy sector, and we will achieve supremacy in this field.” President Trump pledged to provide $5,000 to every adult American if Republicans retain their majority in Congress during the midterm elections scheduled for early November next year, urging his supporters to “imagine” his name appearing on voting ballots. He said: “If Republicans win, you will win with us, and you will receive $5,000. This will be called ‘Trump dividends.’” Trump insisted that he could help Republicans keep their party’s majority in both chambers of Congress following the November 3 elections, addressing his supporters by saying: “I ask you to imagine that my name is on the voting ballots.” Trump cheered to the crowds: “I am on the ballot, I am on the ballot.” He emphasized points made by other Republicans during the conference, warning of a wave of communism threatening the United States, and said: “It will become a communist country if they win.” He added: “Your vote will decide whether our country will stumble at the starting line of the next 250 years or surge forward without looking back at all.” During their conference held at the American Airlines Center, Republicans praised tax cuts, intensified immigration enforcement, increased industrial production, and lower drug prices. The US president said: “We know exactly what is going on, and we have observed limited activity at Iran’s nuclear site at Mount Fasa, and we may have to strike that site as well.” He continued: “I advise Iran not to play dumb, or we will have to hit them very hard.” Posters of Trump were widespread at the venue, where supporters arrived wearing clothes bearing his name, image, or the American flag, with some wearing cowboy hats. This is the first Republican conference held specifically for the congressional midterms, even though no candidates have been nominated yet and the party has not planned any activities within it.
