1,071 male and female students in middle school registered for the Gifted Students Examinations

The Ministry of Education announced that 1,071 middle school students applied for the gifted student identification tests, in accordance with the decision by Minister of Education Sayyid Jalal Al-Tabatabai to open gifted schools for the 2026-2027 academic year.
In a statement issued by the ministry, Dr. Suha Al-Rabia, Acting Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Department at the Gifted Students Office, confirmed that a specialized committee for identifying gifted students has been formed, comprising a select group of experts in the field of giftedness.
Al-Rabia noted that the identification tests began on September 6 and will continue until September 13, with deferred tests scheduled for students who were unable to attend during the specified period.
She emphasized that these tests are part of the ministry’s efforts to identify gifted students, develop their abilities, and provide a suitable educational environment that supports their talents and refines their skills, in line with the ministry’s direction in nurturing giftedness and creativity.
