Fight in apartment reveals 20 bottles of imported wine

Ahmed Khamees A tip-off about a fight and assault inside one of the apartments turned into a separate case after security measures led to the seizure of 20 bottles of imported alcoholic beverages. Interior Ministry operations received a report of a fight inside one of the apartments, and security personnel immediately responded to the scene, where they found a Gulf national in an abnormal state, along with several other individuals. Upon searching the apartment with authorization from the Public Prosecution, security officers discovered 20 bottles of imported alcoholic beverages inside. The seized items were confiscated, a case was registered regarding the incident, and it was referred to the competent authorities. A security source confirmed that legal measures have been taken against all the suspects, with a view to determining the status of each individual. He noted that the Gulf national and the expatriates may face deportation procedures, depending on the outcome of the investigations, while Kuwaiti nationals will be referred to the competent authorities.
