"Two Kuwaitis and an Asian national killed during excavation operation in 63 bags of drugs"

Abdullah Qanais: Security forces arrested four individuals in the Hawalli and Ahmadi governorates, including a Kuwaiti national with a prior criminal record in drug-related cases, and recovered 63 bags containing narcotics.

In Hawalli governorate, the Security Directorate, represented by the Operations and Patrols Department, arrested two Sri Lankan nationals in the Salmiya area, in possession of 37 bags, each containing a crystalline substance suspected to be a narcotic.

The arrests were made while a security patrol was conducting its duties in the area. Security forces observed two individuals digging in a dirt lot. Upon approaching them to verify their activities, one of them attempted to flee, but security forces subdued him and arrested both individuals, recovering the bags containing the narcotics.

In Ahmadi governorate, security forces arrested a Kuwaiti national who had been released from the Central Prison about two months ago after serving a sentence for a drug-related offense, along with another individual. They were found in possession of 26 bags of narcotics.

The suspects and seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
