Intensive drills for "Al-Tayyara" in preparation for "Al-Arabiya"

Kuwait officials: The national volleyball team’s training sessions resumed yesterday evening at the Kuwait Volleyball Federation’s hall, located within the Sheikh Saud Al-Abdullah Sports Complex in the Sabah Al-Salem district, as part of the first phase of the preparation roadmap for the upcoming Arab Men’s Volleyball Championship. The tournament is scheduled to take place in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from October 5 to 15 next month, with the plan developed by the Federation in collaboration with the administrative and technical staff.

Assistant coach Zaid Al-Kahtani emphasized that “the Blues” have intensified their preparations in line with the technical staff’s directives, aiming to achieve the required level of readiness for the anticipated championship. He stated, “The current phase focuses on enhancing technical and physical readiness, building endurance, and integrating physical and technical training.” He noted that the technical staff, led by Argentine coach Julian Alvarez, is implementing a comprehensive program to bring the players to their highest possible level before the Arab competition.

Al-Kahtani added that the national team will hold a training camp in Cairo from October 19 to October 4 next month. The camp will feature intensified tactical, physical, and strategic work, along with several friendly matches, aimed at improving team cohesion and technical readiness. The “Blues” delegation will then travel directly from Cairo to Jordan to participate in the championship.
