“Trump’s Profits”: $5,000 for Every American if Republicans Retain Majority in Congress

President Donald Trump pledged to provide $5,000 to each American adult if Republicans retain their majority in Congress during the midterm elections scheduled for early November next year, urging his supporters to “imagine” his name appearing on the ballots.

Speaking at a Republican Party conference in Dallas, Trump said, “If Republicans win, you win with us, and you will receive $5,000. They will call it Trump dividends.”

The Republican president did not clarify the source of these funds, despite a total bill that could exceed one trillion dollars, content only to state that “our country is making a lot of money.”

Trump insisted that he could help Republicans defy poll predictions and retain their majority in both chambers of Congress following the November 3 elections, addressing his supporters by saying, “I ask you to imagine that my name is on the ballots.”

Trump cheered to the crowds: “I’m on the ballot, I’m on the ballot.”

On another note, the U.S. president once again strongly defended the war on Iran, predicting victory and linking it to a direct drop in fuel prices, before suggesting that the strategic Strait of Hormuz be renamed after him. He stated that “food prices and almost every other commodity are falling rapidly. Oil will fall when we win the war on Iran, and that is what is happening now.”

He emphasized points made by other Republicans at the conference, warning of a wave of communism threatening the United States, and said, “It will become a communist country if they win.”

He added, “Your vote will determine whether our country stumbles at the starting line of the next 250 years or surges forward without looking back at all.”

During their conference held at the American Airlines Center, Republicans praised tax cuts, intensified immigration enforcement, increased industrial production, and lower drug prices.

Trump posters were displayed throughout the venue, where supporters arrived wearing clothing bearing his name, his image, or the American flag, with some donning cowboy hats.

This was the first Republican conference held specifically for the congressional midterm elections, even though no candidates had yet been endorsed and the party had not planned any activities within it.

Instead, organizers prepared for a two-day televised rally to highlight Trump’s record and Republican candidates.

More than 100 representatives and candidates will participate, with 50 speakers each night.

Meanwhile, Decision Desk HQ predicted that Democrats would win a majority in the House of Representatives with 230 seats to Republicans’ 205, and secure 51 seats to 49 for Republicans in the Senate.
