Apple unveiled the new generation of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models yesterday during its annual 2026 conference event, alongside the first foldable iPhone, named iPhone Duo. The official starting price for the iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. The iPhone Duo begins at $1,999.
Apple announced its first foldable device, the iPhone Duo, featuring an interface that mimics the design of iPad tablets, along with a seamless transition experience between the inner and outer screens. It includes a camera hidden within the display and boasts the thinnest profile among all Apple devices. The new design incorporates a novel hinge mechanism that fully protects both the inner screen and the hinge. The iPhone Duo also sees the return of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, similar to those found on iPads. Additionally, the new phone supports the Apple Pencil and allows for multitasking with two apps running simultaneously on the screen. It will be available in two colors: white and black.
Apple has developed a new technology for packaging the screen of its new foldable device, reducing distractions and making the screen crease nearly invisible, while also ensuring scratch resistance and comfort during use. The iPhone Duo relies on a dual-battery setup, with one battery on each side of the device, and employs an algorithm that significantly improves battery consumption. The new phone will be available starting October 23, with pre-orders beginning on October 16.
iPhone 18 Pro
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models come equipped with the most advanced Pro camera system yet, featuring a significant leap in battery life and performance. Leveraging advanced screen technology, the Dynamic Island has been redesigned to provide more space for displaying additional information.
The A20 Pro chip is built using the latest 2-nanometer processing technology, setting a new standard for mobile computing. It features 50% higher memory bandwidth compared to the A19 Pro chip and includes a new CPU with six integrated cores, delivering performance that surpasses competitors.
Apple Watch
Apple released its new watches at the same prices as in previous years: the Apple Watch Series 12 at $399 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 at $799. Both models rely on the same S11 processor and will be available starting September 18. The Apple Watch Series 12 combines advanced health sensors with the new Apple Silicon chip to provide the most accurate heart rate readings on a wearable device.

Superior Battery Performance, Up to 30 Hours of Use
iPhone 18 Pro models offer a massive leap in battery life thanks to new battery designs that leverage the high efficiency of powerful Silicon chips. Models with eSIM support provide up to 36 hours of video playback on the iPhone 18 Pro and up to 45 hours on the Pro Max models. The iPhone 18 Pro can charge up to 50% in approximately 15 minutes, or wirelessly up to 50% in 30 minutes. On the iPhone 18 Pro Max, five minutes of wired charging provides about 7 hours of video playback. Based on a new battery usage model relying on actual usage data, the device offers up to 30 hours of use on a full charge.
