Kuwait Participates in the Second Edition of the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition in Alamein City: Enhancing Communication with Specialized International Bodies, Organizations, and Companies
The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, led by Sheikh M. Hamad Al-Mubarak, participated in the second edition of the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition 2026, hosted in Alamein City, Egypt, from September 7 to 10.
In a statement, the Authority noted that its participation in this international event underscored Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening its presence and active engagement in specialized international forums focused on civil aviation and space. It also highlighted the use of international platforms to exchange expertise and stay abreast of the latest technologies, innovations, and developments shaping the sector globally.
The statement clarified that the exhibition’s opening ceremony was attended by high-level dignitaries, headed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, alongside several ministers, senior officials, and representatives of government and international entities, reflecting the event’s growing stature and its importance as an international platform bringing together key decision-makers and specialists in the aviation and space sectors.
The second edition of the exhibition features broad participation, with 50 countries, 250 exhibitors, 100 aircraft, 50 air displays, and 12,000 visitors and participants representing local, regional, and international organizations and companies. These include major global firms specializing in civil aviation, space, technology, defense, and related sector services, providing a vital opportunity to exchange insights and showcase the latest solutions and technologies.
The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority affirmed that its participation yielded positive outcomes by enhancing communication with various international bodies, organizations, and companies specializing in the field, exploring cooperation and partnership opportunities, and gaining exposure to the latest global practices and experiences across different areas of civil aviation.
It noted that the participation offered a valuable chance to learn about recent advancements in aviation safety and security, airport development, infrastructure, digital transformation, sustainability, innovation, modern technologies, and air services, aligning with the rapid developments occurring in the global aviation sector.
The Authority emphasized that its involvement in the second edition of the exhibition aligns with its strategy to strengthen international partnerships, exchange expertise and knowledge, and continue keeping pace with the latest global developments and standards in civil aviation. This contributes to supporting development plans and enhancing the quality of services and operations in Kuwait.
