Hamed Al-Humaidani: The Kuwait Police Football Club team continues its preparations for its historic debut in the Kuwait Football Association’s activities under the guidance of national coach Mohamed Bouabass. The “Police” squad is training at the Customs fields, with a notable presence of the players selected so far.
In an exclusive interview with “Al-Anbaa,” Coach Bouabass said that the Police team’s participation in the Football Association’s activities is built on solid foundations, owing to its participation in the Ministries’ tournaments in previous years. Last season, the team secured the treble (League, Cup, and Super Cup), giving them a strong player base to build upon.
Bouabass added that the Police team has played three friendly matches against local clubs, with four more matches currently being arranged before the start of the Zain First Division league on October 8 next year.
He noted that the Police team is close to signing five foreign professionals to bolster their squad, with their identities to be revealed once the official signing procedures are completed.
The coach of the Kuwait Police Football Club clarified that his squad includes several well-known local players, such as Fayez Al-Dhafiri, Abdullah Hawi, Mohamed Al-Kandari, Mohamed Al-Murshid, and Al-Qadsia goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Shamari.
