"Naashio Al-Quwa" Win Gold and Silver Medals at the Arab Championship

Our national athletics team won a gold medal and a silver medal in the competitions of the 12th Arab Athletics Championships for Juniors (under 18), raising their total tally to seven medals of various colors. Falah Sanidh, a member of the Athletics Federation and head of the national teams, said that team player Abdulrahman Al-Azmi won the gold medal in the triple jump event, setting a new personal best of 14.53 meters, while player Abdulkarim Al-Hasan finished second and claimed the silver medal in the hammer throw event, also setting a new personal best of 64.57 meters. Sanidh expressed his happiness to KUNA about the outstanding level displayed by the male and female players of the national team during the championship competitions, emphasizing that winning seven medals early in the tournament—three gold, three silver, and one bronze—along with several new personal bests set by players, represents a positive indicator of the development of Kuwaiti athletics and the success of the preparation phase for the championship. He also expressed pride in the achievements and new personal bests recorded by the team players in this championship, considering them an important sign at this age group.
