Kuwait Shooting Federation Honors Winners of the Training Championship
Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federation President Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi honored the winners of the final championship of training courses, which included the 10-meter air rifle, 10-meter air pistol, and archery competitions, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Youth and Sports.
The results for the men’s category saw shooter Mohammed Al-Ajmi take first place in the 10-meter air rifle competition, Fawaz Al-Mutairi win first place in the 10-meter air pistol competition, and Mohammed Al-Qattan claim first place in the archery competition. In the women’s category, shooter Fatima Al-Haddad secured first place in the 10-meter air rifle competition, Noura Al-Rashidi won first place in the 10-meter air pistol competition, and Joud Al-Rashidi took first place in the archery competition.
Al-Otaibi stated that the Kuwait Shooting Club annually organizes these training courses during the summer to welcome young men and women and teach them the fundamentals of shooting sports in rifle, pistol, and archery disciplines. He added that the club assigns a select group of experienced and competent coaches and supervisors to these courses to hone participants’ talents and develop their technical skills and abilities, thereby identifying promising athletes capable of continuing their careers in shooting sports.
He clarified that shooters who achieve outstanding results during these courses will benefit from continuous training programs at the Kuwait Shooting Club throughout the year, aimed at developing their skills and preparing them appropriately. This initiative seeks to integrate top performers into the national teams, leveraging their abilities in upcoming competitions.
