Amid exceptional circumstances, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced the winners of the “Al Jawhara” and “Al Jawhara Junior” draws, in the presence of several bank executives. The draw proceedings were broadcast live via the bank’s social media platforms, underscoring its commitment to the highest standards of transparency and reinforcing its continuous engagement with customers.

During a live broadcast on Kuwait Television, the event saw the announcement of five new winners under the “Al Jawhara” program, which continues to solidify its position as the largest draw program of its kind in Kuwait, by offering exceptional cash prizes and continuous winning opportunities throughout the year.

The draw, conducted in the presence and under the supervision and monitoring of representatives from the global audit firms Deloitte and Grant Thornton, resulted in Al Jawhara account holder Taghrid Rashid Mohammed Al-Darji winning the 1 million Kuwaiti dinar grand prize, making her the third millionaire crowned in the Al Jawhara draws of 2026. Meanwhile, Al Jawhara Junior draw participant Omar Nasser Mohammed Al-Hariji won the grand prize of 10,000 dinars. The list of the five winners announced during the event also included three winners of the weekly Al Jawhara draws, each receiving a prize worth 20,000 dinars: Hussein Ali Khader Al-Fares, Abdullah Falah Hamdan Al-Mutairi, and Ali Mahmoud Maseeb Aziz.

On this occasion, Hisham Al-Nassif, Head of Personal Banking at NBK, stated: “The ‘Al Jawhara’ program has succeeded in cementing its status as one of the most prominent success stories in the Kuwaiti banking sector, based on a vision that combines encouraging customers to adopt sustainable saving behaviors with offering exceptional prize opportunities that add an extra dimension to the saving experience.”

He added: “We are committed to continuously developing the program to keep pace with evolving customer expectations, by providing distinctive benefits and a comprehensive banking experience rooted in innovation, transparency, and reliability, thereby enhancing customers’ ability to plan for their financial future and benefit from the best saving solutions.”

Al-Nassif emphasized that “the high level of trust the program enjoys reflects the strength of the relationship between the bank and its customers, and confirms ‘Al Jawhara’s’ success in offering a renewed concept of saving that combines intangible returns with reward opportunities, within a comprehensive banking experience that transcends the traditional function of savings accounts.”

The “Al Jawhara” account offers customers opportunities to win cash prizes throughout the year, including weekly and monthly draws, and the grand prize of 1 million Kuwaiti dinars, which is drawn three times a year, in addition to prizes from the “Al Jawhara Junior” draws. The total value of the program’s prizes amounts to 5 million dinars annually, making it the largest draw program of its kind in Kuwait.
