Al-Tatbiqi Organizes the Second Orientation Meeting for New Students

In preparation for the launch of the new academic year 2026/2027, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) and Zain Kuwait organized the second orientation meeting for newly admitted students in its colleges and institutes. The meeting, held under the patronage and attendance of PAAET Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam at the Exhibition Grounds (Hall 5), drew a large number of students to learn about regulations, systems, academic services, and guidance relevant to their upcoming academic journey.

Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of PAAET, emphasized that the Authority is welcoming its new students for the second consecutive year under one roof to provide a clearer picture of the upcoming phase. He noted that 13,495 students have been admitted to various colleges and institutes of the Authority this year, adding that the aim of this orientation is to give each student the opportunity to visit their respective college or institute and inquire about all matters related to their future academic path, including class schedules, social allowances, registration holds, and more. Concluding his remarks, Dr. Al-Fajam offered words of encouragement to the students, saying, “Stay strong; Kuwait deserves those who give their best, and you are the generations of the future through whom the country will rise.”

For her part, Ms. Maasouma Al-Bushra, Director of the Information Systems Center at PAAET, explained that the Authority’s systems rely entirely on digital transformation, starting from the admission stage immediately after high school graduation. This process involves entering the civil ID number and password in integration with various government entities. She added that once results are announced, notifications are sent to students via the “Sahl” app or short message service (SMS). The student’s journey then begins upon admission approval to obtain an electronic “User ID.”

Ms. Al-Bushra further stated that the User ID enables students to access all systems and services electronically, including class schedules, attendance and departure systems, social allowances, the electronic advisor, and bus registration for female students.

The orientation serves as a direct link between students and relevant administrative departments to answer all inquiries. It also featured the presence of local banks to facilitate opening accounts for the transfer of social allowances, as well as technical support related to the “Teams” program and student services to ensure a successful start to the academic year.
