Public Works: Closure of the Fast and Middle Lanes of King Faisal Road for One Month

The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, announced the implementation of several traffic closures on King Faisal Road toward Kuwait International Airport, as part of ongoing roadworks.

The ministry clarified that the fast lane and the middle lane on King Faisal Road will be closed from the intersection of Ibrahim Al-Muzain Street to the Sixth Ring Road intersection opposite Khaitan, heading toward Kuwait International Airport, for a period of one month, starting yesterday, Wednesday, the 9th of the current month.

The General Directorate of Traffic also announced a complete closure of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) for traffic coming from Kuwait City toward Kuwait International Airport, from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road) to the intersection of Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Muzain Bridge (South Surra and Khaitan). Vehicles coming from Kuwait City will be fully diverted to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road). Additionally, the exits for Yarmouk and Khaitan on King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) will be closed, starting at dawn on Thursday, the 10th of the current month, until dawn on Sunday, the 13th of the current month, to carry out necessary road maintenance.
