Kuwait Municipality's Technical Department Resumes Operations Next Tuesday

Kuwait officials: The Municipal Council resumes its work today, Thursday, following the end of the members’ summer break. The Technical Committee will hold its meeting next Tuesday, chaired by Engineer Manira Al-Amir. The agenda includes the following items:
- A request from the Ministry of Public Works to allocate a sewage drainage route connecting the sewage pumping station to the end of an existing route in the Sabah Al-Ahmad residential area (N11).
- A request from the Ministry of Finance to reassign the sites of the Kuwait Public Transport Company’s Shuwaikh Garage and Abdullah Port from the Public Authority for Industry to the Ministry of Finance.
- A request from the General Customs Authority to expand the Salma Border Crossing site.
- A request to cancel the allocation of the site for the Third Al-Olayanat Project and the Second Aromatics Project (D2) and to reassign the site to support expansion operations for the onshore treatment facilities and infrastructure of the North Field East (NFE) offshore field project (OPF) in the Zour area.
- A request from a real estate company to obtain approval to add two floors to the multi-story parking building in the East District, Plot No. 8.
- A request to reorganize a plot within Plot No. 87 in the Hawalli area.
