Ministry of Commerce Seizes Several Violations in Multiple Warehouses in the Capital

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that joint efforts between the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Administration, represented by the Hawalli Governorate inspection unit, and the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, resulted in the seizure of several garages in the governorate. Inspections revealed various violations, including repairing vehicles damaged in traffic accidents and changing vehicle colors without obtaining written authorization from the Ministry of Interior. Additional infractions involved the possession and sale of used tires and the failure to display a schedule outlining warranty periods for new, refurbished, and used spare parts in a conspicuous location.

The ministry stated that violation reports were issued against the offending garages, and all prescribed legal measures were taken against the violators, in coordination between the relevant authorities in the two ministries.
