Apple Officially Unveils iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus, opened the Apple 2026 conference to unveil the new iPhone models, replacing former CEO Tim Cook. Apple revealed its new devices, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
During the conference, Apple also unveiled the new iPhone 18 Pro, which features new upgrades and distinctive colors, most notably “Burgundy.”
Apple stated that the iPhone 18 Pro’s camera is the most advanced in iPhone history. The company also announced the languages supported by Siri and its new artificial intelligence, noting that Arabic is not among them. Additionally, Apple announced that users can access the Siri app directly through the Camera app, as well as the assistant’s ability to access other apps and perform various functions within them.
Apple made significant improvements to the battery of the new iPhone 18 series, adopting a new processor to greatly enhance battery performance. The phone’s battery life reaches up to 30 hours on the iPhone 18 Pro Max after a single charge. The company said its new processor features a 2-nanometer manufacturing architecture with a new set of cores dedicated to AI processing and graphics capabilities, boosting gaming performance. It can also run AI models locally thanks to the inclusion of 32 neural processing cores. Memory speed and access speed improved by up to 50%, and Apple used its custom computer processor design to improve processor cooling.
Users can also customize Siri’s voice according to preference, based on the new AI models on the phone.
At its conference, Apple announced that the official price for the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, and the Pro Max starts at $1,299.
Apple unveiled the new generation of its wireless earbuds, AirPods 5, with an improved design for a clearer user experience and enhanced active noise cancellation, offering up to a 50% improvement over the previous generation. The company introduced a new feature that allows the earbuds to automatically switch between different noise cancellation modes, along with direct AI support from the earbuds.
Apple announced that the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 support direct access to AI features, along with a new set of sensors that enhance the health-tracking experience of the watches.
Apple also revealed that the price of the new foldable iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 and is available with eSIM only worldwide.
The company stated that the new phone is the thinnest iPhone when unfolded and comes with Apple Pencil support and two color options.
The new phone will be available starting October 23, 2026, with pre-orders beginning on October 16.
