Traffic Department: Full closure of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road effective dawn Thursday

The General Directorate of Traffic announced a complete closure of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) for traffic coming from Kuwait City toward Kuwait International Airport via Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road), up to the intersection of Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Muzain Bridge – South Sarra and Khaitan. Vehicles coming from Kuwait City will be fully diverted to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road). Exits for Yarmouk and Khaitan on King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) will also be closed. The closure will take effect from dawn tomorrow, Thursday, until dawn on Sunday, the 13th, to carry out necessary road maintenance.
