Deputy of the Guard: Consolidating the principles of justice, transparency, and equal opportunity

Deputy Commander of the National Guard, Major General Hamad Al-Burjiss, held a meeting with senior commanders and officers of the National Guard, attended by Assistant for Financial Affairs and Resource Management, Brigadier General Riyadh Tawari, to mark the approval of the National Guard’s new organizational structure. The meeting was held in line with the leadership’s commitment to direct communication with commanders and officers, and to strengthening institutional work in a manner that aligns with the requirements of the upcoming phase in the National Guard’s development.

The Deputy Commander welcomed the officers, conveying congratulations from the National Guard leadership on their assumption of new positions, and wished them success and effectiveness in fulfilling their responsibilities. He emphasized that assuming leadership roles is a responsibility and a trust that demands commitment, discipline, and the diligent and competent execution of duties.

Major General Hamad Al-Burjiss affirmed that the new National Guard structure was based on principles of justice, transparency, and equal opportunity, in accordance with standards of specialization, competence, and the ability to perform tasks and responsibilities. This approach aims to place the right person in the right position, enhance performance levels, and improve the efficiency of the operational system.

He stressed that the development of the organizational structure is part of a comprehensive vision aimed at strengthening institutional work, improving coordination among various units, and clearly defining jurisdictions and responsibilities.

He pointed out that competence, experience, and specialization are fundamental pillars in assigning responsibilities and appointing individuals to positions. He noted that the upcoming phase requires continuing to work with a spirit of teamwork, leveraging the expertise and human resources abundant within the National Guard, while encouraging competent personnel to pursue continuous development and acquire additional skills and experience.

Major General Hamad Al-Burjiss also urged officers to serve as role models in discipline, commitment, and accountability, placing the interests of the National Guard and the service of the country above all else. He emphasized the importance of strictly applying regulations and bylaws, and enhancing the work environment to foster cooperation and integration across all levels and units.
