Civil Defense: Administrative closure and warning of 74 facilities violating fire prevention regulations in the Capital

The General Fireforce conducted an inspection campaign in the evening of Monday in the capital governorate’s Shuwaikh Industrial Area, in cooperation with several government entities, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs. The campaign aimed to identify buildings and facilities that violated fire safety and prevention regulations. The General Fireforce stated that the campaign resulted in administrative closures and the issuance of notices and warnings to 74 facilities, due to their failure to comply with the General Fireforce’s requirements as well as those of other relevant authorities.
