Ministry of Commerce: Warehouse containing 588 items violating public order regulations seized

Continuing the efforts of the Trade Control and Consumer Protection Department, an inspection supervisor in the Capital Governorate seized a warehouse containing 588 assorted items of non-compliant goods that violated public morals, public order, and Islamic Sharia, in contravention of Article 10, clauses (1 and 2), of Ministerial Decision No. 216 of 2014, which issues the executive regulations for Law No. 117 of 2012, amending certain provisions of Decree-Law No. 10 of 1979 concerning supervision of trade in goods, services, and crafts, and its amendments. The Ministry immediately closed the warehouse, drafted a seizure report against it, completed the necessary legal procedures, and referred the case to the Commercial Prosecution.
