Kuwait Disability Authority Supports Kuwaiti Champions in Preparation for the 2026 Asian Para Games

Nada Abu Nasr received Dr. Dalal Dhafer Al-Othman, Director General of the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities, Kuwait Paralympic Committee Chairman Mansour Al-Sarheed, and Shafi Al-Hajeri, President of the Kuwait Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities, along with a number of officials and athletes, as part of the preparations for Kuwait’s anticipated participation in the 2026 Asian Para Games, to be hosted by Japan in October 2026.
The meeting discussed various topics related to the technical and administrative preparations of the Kuwaiti delegation, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination among relevant stakeholders to create the best possible conditions for participating athletes and enable them to achieve honorable results befitting the name of the State of Kuwait.
Dr. Dalal Al-Othman emphasized the Authority’s commitment to supporting athletes with disabilities and providing a suitable environment that helps them continue their achievements and raise Kuwait’s flag at international sporting events, commending the considerable efforts made by athletes and technical and administrative staff in preparation for upcoming competitions.
The meeting also addressed the importance of strengthening athletes’ presence and boosting their morale, working to overcome potential challenges, and continuing efforts to improve the quality of life and promote comprehensive social inclusion for persons with disabilities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Othman expressed her wishes for the athletes’ success and achievement in their upcoming participation, affirming her confidence in their ability to deliver outstanding results that reflect the standard of Kuwaiti sports and add new accomplishments to Kuwait’s sporting record.
