Qatar: Reopening the Strait of Hormuz is of utmost importance to all countries in the region

Qatar has affirmed that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is of utmost importance to it and to all countries in the region.

Majed Al-Ansari, the official spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated during his weekly press conference that Doha is working “with regional and global partners to resume dialogue, resolve the crisis between the United States and Iran, and end tensions.”

He emphasized that “normalizing relations in the context of a state of no-war, no-peace in the region is unacceptable.”
