Egypt condemns attacks on Saudi cities: serious escalation and violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty

Egypt today, Tuesday, strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks that targeted the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in dozens of civilians, including women and children, being injured.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a serious escalation and a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, posing a threat to the security and safety of its people. It expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with fraternal Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support in confronting any threats to the Kingdom’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while firmly rejecting the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Egypt emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Egypt’s national and Arab security.
