The Engineer's Latest: "The Shock"

Majid Al-Muhandis and Walid Al-Shami reunite in a new musical work titled “Al-Sadda,” released by Rotana Music across digital platforms. The song features lyrics by poet Yasser Al-Tuwaijri, music composed by Walid Al-Shami, and musical arrangement by Mounir Khoury. The song’s concept unfolds in an emotional space centered on reproach, betrayal, and heartbreak in relationships.

Prior to its release, a teaser campaign was launched via official social media accounts, before Rotana announced the song’s availability for streaming on digital music platforms. The official poster featured Al-Muhandis and Al-Shami in two black-and-white looks against a red background.

“Al-Sadda” marks the reunion of Al-Muhandis and Al-Shami in a musical collaboration following previous joint projects with other artists. However, this new release presents them in a duet that highlights the contrast between their distinct vocal styles and the interplay of their performances.
