Chamber of Commerce Launches Fourth Edition of the Qualification and Training Program for New Hires at the Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center

The Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Saqer Center for Development and Development, affiliated with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the launch of the fourth edition of the “Onboarding and Training for New Hires” project, to be held from October 4 to 28, 2026, in the center’s halls at the Chamber’s building.

The center explained that this program follows up on the success achieved by previous editions since 2023, which attracted more than 100 participants from various public and private sectors. It noted that the program aims to meet the growing demand from state institutions and civil society organizations for training new staff, with annual updates to the content aligned with the needs of the Kuwaiti labor market.

The project spans four weeks and includes 13 training programs delivered by 12 national experts, covering essential topics such as communication skills and workplace ethics, fundamentals of administrative writing, data analysis and decision-making, workplace problem analysis and resolution, quality management, legal awareness for employees in both the private and public sectors, teamwork and professional efficiency, customer understanding and appropriate service marketing, cybersecurity awareness, artificial intelligence applications in the workplace, and how to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications.

The program offers participants the opportunity to learn from practical experiences in both the public and private sectors, and to work in groups to develop practical solutions inspired by the local work environment, thereby enhancing their ability to integrate effectively into the labor market.

The center concluded that this project is one of the pioneering national initiatives undertaken by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry through the Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Saqer Center for Development and Development, a non-profit center dedicated to empowering Kuwaiti youth and preparing them to begin their professional careers efficiently and competently, based on specialized studies on local labor market needs, and reaffirming the Chamber’s role in supporting human development and improving the work environment in the country.
