Customs Authority Chairman Inspects Al-Abdali Border Crossing in Surprise Visit to Review Operations

Yousef Khaled Al-Nuwaif, Head of the General Administration of Customs, conducted an unannounced surprise inspection visit to the Abdali border crossing to observe operations firsthand, assess readiness levels, and review the implementation of customs procedures across various facilities at the crossing.

During the visit, Al-Nuwaif toured the work and inspection sites, monitoring the movement of passengers, vehicles, and trucks, and evaluating compliance with established regulations and directives to ensure the smooth flow of procedures and enhance operational efficiency.

The Head of the General Administration of Customs emphasized that these surprise visits are part of continuous field follow-up and real-time performance assessment. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop the work environment and enhancing the readiness of customs crossings, thereby strengthening national security and facilitating the movement of travelers and trade in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
