Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity Concludes Its Global Technology Competitions by Announcing Winners

The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity, one of the centers under the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, concluded the activities of the (Sabah Al-Ahmad Global Technological Competitions 2026), held at the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre, with more than 180 participants taking part and the winners being announced.
In a press statement, the “Talent” Center said that the competitions brought together young talents in four specialized technical contests: Maze (MAZE), Line Follower, Sumo, and Drones.
It added that the competitions featured a competitive atmosphere that combined knowledge with practical application, as participants went through multiple rounds that tested their skills in programming, logical thinking, engineering design, navigation, control, and problem-solving.
The event was organized across four parallel tracks. The Sumo competition began with a group stage followed by knockout rounds, while the Maze, Line Follower, and Drone competitions each comprised three competitive rounds, allowing participants to test their solutions and improve their performance en route to the final rounds.
The Center noted that organizing these competitions aligns with its efforts to discover and nurture national talents in the fields of science, technology, and engineering, promote a culture of innovation, and provide a competitive environment that enables participants to translate their knowledge and technical skills into practical applications.
