The Shooting Association to Conclude Training Courses Tomorrow

The Shooting Club will conclude tomorrow its annual shooting training courses, which the club organizes each year to provide opportunities for young people. A large number of Kuwaiti youth, both male and female, participate in these courses to learn the fundamentals of Olympic shooting disciplines, including pistol, rifle, and archery. The training covers safety and security instructions, as well as theoretical and practical sessions, following the latest international standards, under the supervision of specialized coaches and Kuwaiti youth safety and security supervisors. This year’s course ran for 60 days in collaboration with the Public Authority for Sports during July and August, with 200 participants of both genders.

For his part, Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federations, extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the generous and continuous support provided by the state, represented by the Public Authority for Sports. This support has been instrumental in enabling the club to successfully implement its programs and encouraging shooters to continue achieving success at the international level.

Al-Otaibi noted that the shooting training courses hosted and organized by the club in collaboration with the Public Authority for Sports provided an opportunity for the largest possible number of talented and promising young people in shooting, emphasizing that the sport enjoys significant interest among youth. He clarified that specialized courses for outstanding shooters will follow this year, allowing them to continue their training at the club and develop their skills under the supervision of national team shooting coaches, ensuring they are fully prepared to participate in the club’s competition program next season.
