As the academic and administrative staff begin their duties, schools continue preparations for the new year
Alaa Khalifa With the commencement of the work schedule for teaching and administrative staff in the new academic year, preparations continue in schools under the Ministry of Education, amid intensive efforts to ensure school readiness and provide a suitable educational environment. In this context, Abdullah Al-Kandari, principal of Abdul Latif Al-Nassif Intermediate Boys’ School, expressed his satisfaction with the early preparations undertaken by the Ministry of Education to welcome the new academic year, emphasizing that these efforts reflect the directives of Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai and the ministry’s commitment to providing the best means to establish a suitable and safe educational environment as the new academic year begins. Al-Kandari stressed that the start of the work schedule for teaching staff marks an important milestone, given that teachers are a central pillar of the educational process. He noted that this phase sees the completion of organizational, technical, and academic arrangements, as well as a review of all preparations to ensure an organized and successful launch of the new academic year. He praised the substantial efforts made by various sectors and departments of the Ministry of Education, alongside educational districts, school administrations, technical and engineering teams, and all relevant entities, which worked with a spirit of teamwork over the past period to ensure school readiness and its facilities, and to provide the necessary requirements for the start of classes. For his part, Faisal Al-Mutairi, deputy principal of Abdul Latif Al-Nassif Intermediate Boys’ School, confirmed that the school had completed its preparations to welcome the new academic year, coinciding with the start of the work schedule for teaching and administrative staff, thereby ensuring a suitable and motivating school environment for both teaching and administrative personnel. He explained that the school administration had closely monitored all maintenance and setup works during the past period, verified the readiness of air-conditioning units, and provided school furniture while preparing classrooms and school facilities in a manner that meets the needs of the educational process and creates appropriate conditions for a successful academic year. He added that the school administration prioritizes providing a safe and organized educational environment and enhancing cooperation and communication among all staff members, contributing to achieving the desired educational and pedagogical objectives.
